Tee Time On Kiawah Island™
Blend 5 tomatillo, 2 Tbs Fresh Cilantro, and 1 Tsp Fresh Ginger until liquified. Add 1/4 cup of Pineapple Juice, 1 Tbs Lime Juice, the desired quantity of your preferred Premium Vodka from the freezer, and 10 to 20 dashes of Shaw’s 619 Emerald Reserve Pepper Sauce. Pour 3 Tbs of Coconut Creme over the back of a spoon on top then Garnish with Fresh Basil, a Lemongrass stalk, and a Lime Wedge. Coat the Rim of a Crystal Glass with Toasted Coconut and Serve.

Mix 6 oz of Collagen-rich chicken or beef stock (Ina Garten’s recipe is a good one here), with 3 Tbs Lime Juice, and 6 oz of V-8 Juice (Or Tomato Juice or Clamato Juice), the desired quantity of your preferred Premium Vodka from the freezer, and 10 to 20 dashes of Shaw’s 166 Ruby Reserve Pepper Sauce. Coat the rim of a pint-size Ball Jar with coarse sea salt mixed with lime zest and serve over ice. Garnish with a strip of fresh red bell pepper, fresh mini-cucumber and a lime wedge.

Shaw’s Carolina Gourmet began with a garden, a few rows of peppers, and the curiosity of a man who understands flavor from the soil up.
After founding and producing premium Napa Valley wines for over 20 years including the winery that still bears his name Charles Shaw moved to the Piedmont region of North Carolina. There, he discovered a different kind of terroir: the bold, sun-ripened heat of Carolina-grown red and green peppers. Blending homegrown Cayenne and Tabasco peppers with fresh garlic, kosher salt, and fish sauce, Shaw creates a pepper mash, when fermented, reveals all five core tastes, sweet, salty, savory, sour, and bitter and a long, elegant finish. In 2024, his Ruby Sauce won First Place and the Blue Ribbon at the North Carolina State Fair. Today, Shaw’s Carolina Gourmet brings that same award-winning craftsmanship and Carolina flavor to your table.
